V-day
I'm not really into Valentine's Day (and, frankly, I'm only phrasing my dislike that mildly because it seems spewing one's disgust with manufactured, obligation-ridden, and establishment-reinforcing holidays is so last year) - but have a good one and all that anyway. As a compromise, here's a couple links to celebrate, but in an alternative fashion:
- Vday 10th Anniversary Celebration - So it's very pink and involves Jessica Alba. It's still for a good cause.
- International Quirkyalone Day - If the shiny, plastic, romantic-comedy type of love isn't for you, you might be able to get behind the quirkyalones.
I am prepared, however, to dive headfirst into all the discounted candy tomorrow. See, Hallmark holidays are good for something after all.
