Women in Tech Links for 20 March
Since my long-neglected blog about women and technology news is undergoing a drastic format change and won't be ready to go for a while, the links I collect in that topic are piling up with no where to go. So I've decided to temporarily round them up in a semi-regular post here.
- Back in Skinny Jeans describes the real reason she left her job in tech: "One of my theories as to why women stay away from the tech industry is that they don’t want to put themselves in situations that make them feel like sexual targets on a constant basis."
- BlackBerry exec talks about why more women aren't in tech and how to get them there.
- Kottke finds cause to renew the discussion of lack of female speakers at tech conferences.
- Girl bloggers rise in numbers, could help narrow tech gender divide.
